It is a noble profession and the greatest service to humanity. It is focused on the care of every individual patient so they can maintain and recover their health and quality of life. It has been greatly stated. A nurse is a connection between the doctor and the patient, nurse’s follow’s the medical instructions from the doctor for every particular patient and assist the doctors in invasive and non-invasive medical procedures.
    The DIT College of Nursing has the clinical tie ups with Max Super Speciality Hospital, S.K. Memorial Hospital, Krishna Medical Centre Hospital, Sub District Government Hospital Mussoorie and Landour Community Hospital, Primary Health Centre –Bhagwantpur and Community Health Centre Sahaspur for enriching our nursing student’s clinical skills.
    In addition to that Max Super Speciality hospital, offers certificate Training Courses for our Nursing students like Patient’s safety management, ECG Interpretations, Infection control, Intravenous Cannulation and basic Nursing Care Modules.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing

1. Passed 10+2 examination with 50% marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as mandatory subjects.
2. Secured 50% marks in PCB and should have pass in English as subject.

Program Educational Objectives

PEO1 Graduate nurses apply knowledge from physical, biological and behavioral sciences, medicine including alternative systems and nursing in providing nursing care to individuals, families and communities.
PEO2 Graduate nurses demonstrate understanding of life styles and other factors, which affect health of individuals and groups.
PEO3 Graduate nurses provide nursing care based on steps of nursing process in collaboration with individuals and groups.
PEO4 Graduate nurses demonstrate critical thinking skill in making decisions in all situations in order to provide quality care.
PEO5 Graduate nurses utilize the latest trends and technology in providing health care.
