Prof. (Dr.) J. Samuel Ernest Ratnakumar is a highly accomplished academician with extensive experience in higher education administration, teaching, and research. He is currently serving as the Registrar of DIT University and holds the additional responsibility of Director Administration.
Dr. Samuel holds a Doctoral degree in Management along with three master’s degrees in management, law, and commerce with distinctions and rankings. He is a passionate Teacher and Researcher. His areas of Research interest include, Transformational Higher Education, Performance Management, Quality Assurance, Rankings etc.,
Dr. Samuel has more than three decades of experience in higher education administration, teaching, and research. He has held various positions in universities and institutions of eminence, including the position of Registrar at Shiv Nadar University, Birla Institute of Technology and Science, and Jio University. He has also held the positions of Registrar & Director, Strategy and international in other universities such as IGNOU, Ambedkar University Delhi, Thapar University, Datta Meghe Institute of Higher Education and Research, to name a few.
Apart from his experience in universities, Dr. Samuel has also served in the Institution of Chartered Accountants of India as its Regional head, Northern region and has worked with various ministries of the Government of India.
Dr. Samuel's expertise, experience, and leadership have been instrumental in the growth and development of the institutions he has served.
