Preeti Sharma joined the School of Computing at DIT Dehradun as a faculty member in July 2024. She received a PhD from UPES Dehradun and was the gold medalist for an M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun. Sharma's interests center upon Machine Learning, Digital image Processing, Deep Learning, Digital Forensics, Computer Vision, Neural networks, and particularly generative adversarial networks. With over five years of experience in the field, Sharma is dedicated to advancing the study and application of neural networks. She received the Best Oral Presentation Award at Research Conclave 2024 organized by UPES. Before joining DIT Dehradun, Sharma served as a Junior Research Fellow in the School of Computer Science at UPES Dehradun. Sharma's research has been published in various esteemed journals and conference proceedings.
