Brief Profile

With over an experience of 20 years of dedicated and wholesome service to DITU Dr Prakash Tiwari is designated as a Professor in the Faculty of Management studies. He also assumed the position of Dean Accreditation and Contemporisation in the year 2021.Dr Tiwari earned his doctorate in the field of ‘Strategy’ after intensive R AND D from HNB Garhwal Central University Uttarakhand. He plays a very crucial role to in the academic, research and administration of the university.

Apart from handling a number of administrative designations, Dr Prakash has been quite active in the research field and has published good number of research papers in various indexed/SSCI journals. 

As the head CITM Dr Prakash brough about Digital revolution in the university by effectuating automatization, e - governance, SAP ERP implementation, LMS, and a lot of innovative and budding processes that aided in this digitalization wave that proved worthwhile to the institute’s interest.

During his tenure as the Associate Dean Academic Dr Prakash aimed at a Student centric Curriculum design and implemented the same which enhanced the teaching learning process. He is also one of the architects of the CBCS system which is a step further in our student friendly methodologies of imparting education.

After assuming office as the dean accreditation and Contemporisation Dr Tiwari has been working actively in bettering the national and global presence of the university through its emergence as a national and global competitor in various world and national accreditation and ranking processes. He plays a substantial role in creating a global perspective of the instititute.

Dr Prakash is a highly skilled and goal driven person. Through these years he has proved his mettle and is committed to the growth of the institute in every aspect be it socially aur academically. He has a very strong track record in mentoring students helping them claim heights and fostering in them a sense to keep learning and never settling for less. He has mastered the art of adapting to students’ diverse learning styles and believes in creating a very student friendly atmosphere that not only keeps them engrossed and dedicated towards their goals but also ensures their active participation and keeps them close to reality.
