Dr. Pankaj Pant, holding degrees in B. Pharm and M. Pharm (Pharmacology) from Uttarakhand Technical University, completed a Ph.D. at DIT University, Dehradun, supported by grants from Bayer Pharmaceutical, Germany. His Ph.D. work entitled "Key Markers Differentially Expressed in Cumulus and Mural Cells of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) Patients." Dr. Pant completed his Ph.D. work under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Havagiray Chitme, a distinguished researcher and academician in the field of Pharmacy.
Dr. Pant excelled academically, securing an All-India Rank of 2189 in the GPAT in 2017. His primary research explores the clinical aspects of metabolic syndrome, with a specific emphasis on polycystic ovary syndrome.
Engaging in diverse in vitro and preclinical investigations, including cancer, behavioral studies, diabetes, neuroendocrine research, and GWAS. His research extended into the intricate field of proteomics, involving thorough analyses of clinical specimens. Beyond research, he actively participates in institutional and outreach activities, industrial trainings, and oversees the Molecular Pharmacology Laboratory. Dr. Pant's impactful contributions are evident through his published research papers and patents.
