Dr. Md. Habban Akhter has graduated in Pharmacy in the academic session of 2007 from Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi and received master in pharmacy in Pharmaceutics from Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi in 2009 under the supervision of Prof (Dr). Javed Ali, and Prof. (Dr.) Sanjula Baboota at Jamia Hamdard. He had completed doctoral program in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2016. He had qualified GATE exam conducted by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur, Govt. of India, with percentile of 97.04 in 2007. In M. Pharm research, he developed “Antibiotic multiple pulse delivery for targeting broad spectrum bacterial infection” under the supervision Dr. Javed Ali and Dr. Sanjula Baboota at Jamia Hamdard. In doctoral program he improved the bioavailability of the poorly soluble drug substances and tested in animal via ‘‘Self Nanoemulsifying drug delivery system”. Besides this, his excellencies in research led to earned a DST SERB sponsored research project on “Polymeric functionalized nanoparticle for potential targeting to skin cancer” under the supervision of Dr. Saima Amin Assistant Professor at Jamia Hamdard. He had honored with Junior Research Fellow (JRF) by UGC, Senior Research Fellow (SRF) by DST SERB Govt. of India. His work of interest is drug delivery, nanotechnology, nanomedicine, nanotheranostic, engineering of nanocarriers for various target domains including in cancer therapy, and development of animal model/xenograft model. He published several research and review papers in high impact journal of repute and filed patents on better therapeutic efficacy of pharmaceuticals. His cumulative impact factor is >50 and H-index is 8, Google citation is 226. He has attained and presented several papers in national and international conferences/seminars/symposia. Currently, working as Assistant Professor-II in DIT University, Dehradun, India
