Dr. Bhavna working as Associate Professor at Faculty of Pharmacy, DIT University. Earlier worked as Associate Professor and Head of Department, at HIMT Greater Noida, UP, also worked as Assistant Professor in KIET, Muradnagar, UP. She worked as Senior Research Fellow of Indian Council of Medical Research, Delhi. She obtained Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from Hamdard University, New Delhi in 2011.
She had received Masters in Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics) from Hamdard University, New Delhi in 2006. She had graduated from Hamdard University, New Delhi in 2003. She also obtained her P.G. Diploma in Pharmaceutical management, Quality control and Quality Assurance, Drug regulatory Affairs, and Production Management from, IPER (Institute of Pharmaceutical and education research), Pune. She had a rich experience of more than 15 years for teaching B. Pharm, M. Pharm and PhD students.
She has supervised nearby 12 M. Pharm and 1 PhD in her name. She has published about 40 research and review articles in SCI indexed journals, book chapter (4) and 15 patents. She authored two textbooks on Physical pharmaceutics, Scitech Publisher. She presented papers and attended many national and international conferences and published as proceedings in with repute journals.
She had research experience in working DRDO lab (INMAS) as project trainee. She worked as senior research fellow in ICMR funded project. She was GATE qualified (2004) and UGC (University Grant Commission) fellow. She was awarded with excellence in research in 2020 and Women researcher award 2020. She had life time membership of IPA (Indian Pharmaceutical Association), IPGA (Indian Graduate Association), SPER (Society of pharmaceutical education and research). She is a registered Pharmacist in Delhi Pharmacy Council. She received “Women researcher Award” in 2020, and also served as Brand Ambassador of Bentham Science for the year 2019.
She is a recipient of INSA fellowship 2022, for Teachers. Her research interests are in the area nanomedicine, neurodegenerative disorders and pulmonary delivery, intranasal drug delivery.
