Dr. Ashok Kumar joined the School of Computing as an Assistant Professor in January 2013. Ashok Kumar received his PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from Chander Mohan Jha University, Jorabat in 2012 and M.Tech in CSE from JRN University. Ashok’s interests in Advanced database management system, Operating System, Software Engineering, Entrepreneurship & Satrtup and Distributed Systems and data structures. He has supervised 23 students of M.Tech CSE and 64 groups of B.Tech project in DITU. He has 19 years’ good academic and administration experience in different institutions. He is working as coordinator of Industrial tour, training and placement committee, NAAC committee member in DITU, academic head, members of BOS, members of DAAC, UG coordinator, coordinator of NPTEL, coordinators of monitoring committee of Industrial committee, member of quality control cell, Centre superintendent of mid and end term examination, member of IONCUDOS, MSTeam. His 16 International conference papers have been published in different UGC approved journals.
