Dr Ashish Kumar Verma joined the Department of Department of Electrical and Electronics & Communication Engineering as an Assistant Professor in February 2024. He holds a PhD from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, Rajasthan, along with an M. Tech degree in RF and Microwave Engineering from Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, and a B.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Gautam Buddha Technical University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
His primary areas of research focus on design of compact planar antennas, periodic structures such as frequency selective surfaces and metasurfaces. He possesses extensive skills in antenna and RF circuit design and their characterization using vector network analyzers and anechoic chambers.
