Dr. Ashish Khanna joined the Department of Chemistry as Assistant Professor in August 2023. He has received his B.Sc. (CBZ), and M.Sc. Chemistry degree from Kumaun University, Nainital and Ph.D. Chemistry degree from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India under the supervision of Prof. Ram Sagar. His main research interest focuses on organic synthesis, the development of Carbohydrate derived bioactive molecules, natural product-inspired hybrid analogues and molecular modeling, especially in protein-ligand interaction via in-silico docking tools. He has attended many international and national conferences. He was awarded with GATE, USET and BHU-RET during his Ph.D. degree. He has published more than 11 research papers.
