Anju Dangwal joined the Department of Psychology as an Assistant Professor in October 2024. She is a Doctoral Candidate (PhD submitted) in psychology at the G.D. Goenka University Gurugram Haryana, India. She is a CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) practioner since last 9 years. Her research lies at the intersections of climate change, mental health and climate anxiety. Her overall research objective is to characterize interventions that address climate and environmental vulnerability to improve the health and well-being of overall population. Throughout her academic journey, she has contributed to various scholarly articles, book chapters and presented her findings at numerous conferences, earning recognition for her innovative approach to tackling climate-related mental health issues specifically climate anxiety. Through her teaching, she is committed to educating the next generation of psychologists, fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages critical thinking and a deep understanding of the complexities of psychology.
