Dr. Alpa Singh Rajput joined the Department of Mathematics as Assistant Professor-II in August 2023. She received her PhD in Pure Mathematics from RDVV Jabalpur. Her work focuses on Soft Sets, including topics like connectedness between soft sets, soft continuity, and fuzzy soft topology. She has published 23 research papers and presented 9 at international and national conferences. She won the Best Research Paper Award at AMSCO’19 and her research was chosen for the M.P. Young Scientist Congress. Teaching for a decade, she brings extensive experience. She holds two Indian Design Patent for an AI-based agriculture and surveillance device and machine learning powered fake currency identification device. She also patented a method to solve nonlinear equations and method and system for modeling hesitant bipolar-valued fuzzy graphs in mathematics. In addition, she's written a book called "Introduction to Operations Research." Her achievements show her commitment to both academic and practical aspects of her field. She is member of professional bodies like Life Member of FATER Academy of India. Life Member of IAENG (International Association of Engineers).
